Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. She started as a photographic assistant before moving on to acting and modeling. The award she received was her Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's feature film Love Story was an international success, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she was named the top female box office starter in the whole world. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
